for no reason at all tonight I felt I needed to post some photographs, it has been a while and after all that is why I started this blog right?
I have ran off on a couple of other waves of interest this summer and maybe that is because with teens and a baby my mind is going 90 miles an hour looking for things to keep the baby happy and then working hard to keep the teens and hubby happy…

So here are a few shots from my summer… I am still working on my vacation photos I will hopefully get some of them done this week.

Well folks that is it… watch as I learn a few new tricks, offer up some advise as I plug along on my trip of better eating. Now to go find my kitchen table maybe we can start eating dinners there. LOL

Today was a wildly productive day for me. I have missed my time blogging over the summer. I thought I would start blogging again after school started but with that I found every reason not to look at my computer, or just peak at pintrest or Facebook and then run off to bed.  Today that is changing.

Today I am starting a new blog challenge. A Cooking challenge for me and my family. Please feel free to join me and share your success and in some-cases failure…LOL

Rules:

1)  for the next 30 days no eating out!

2) cook a full meal for you & your family

3) blog it with recipe for others to try

4) make sure a review is in your blog about how you and your family liked it

5) post a link to web site your recipe came from, I am all about giving credit where credit is due… if recipe is a family hand me down please say so.

6) if you join me in the challenge and I should fail to post my home made dinner by 12:00pm my time I will promote  your blog here and on my other social network pages.

7) take a pictures of the finished meal or as you go… I love to look at pictures. (take pictures with phone or camera I am not going to judge your photographs of your food)

8) have fun with this try new things…

I know life can be busy and over whelming at times and we all have a million things to get done. I just think this is a great way to ensure a little bit of time with your family and maybe even have a conversation over dinner about each others days. Who knows maybe a little Cleaver (you know leave it to Beaver)  time needs to come back to our busy lives… maybe we should all take time to shut down technology for an hour each day and go back to a few old school ways… What would it hurt?

So I challenge you to join me on my quest to cook dinner for my family every night, and get to know my family again like the Cleavers did…

Will you join me? If you choose to take this challenge with me leave me a comment below and I will make a page with all our blog address so we can track each other.

Happy cooking and Happy blogging
