Well the Princess is leaving town the rest of the weekend with her high school Marching Band so she asked Big Daddy to make his tacos for dinner tonight.
Big Daddy sprung this on me at 12:00 this afternoon… Normally I jump at the sound of his Tacos but I know the night before so my black beans can soak over night and cook all day in the crock pot. Today I tried to cook them like the package says and it was an EPIC FAIL… (I am so bummed out right now over not having black refried beans with dinner)
There is nothing I love more then spending time in the kitchen with my amazing man. Our two teens were out doing there things and the Little Bug was in her high chair with her big crayons and paper and Big Daddy and I were cooking and playing name that band, (Sirius radio on Dish’s classic vinyl)
Taco night is a guarantee that everyone will be home for dinner! Left overs are fought over the next day… Princess was quick tonight after she was done eating she made a glad bowl of fixings to take with her on the bus tomorrow for lunch. Even though my beans were a epic fail tonight dinner was enjoyed by us all and we even ate at the dinning room table… I even tried to ask about everyone’s day? I asked what was the best part of your day?
Now I have a house full of teens and chocolate watching the movie Sandlot. Below are some the pictures I took of dinner I still have more on my phone but my battery is dead so will load them tomorrow…
no real recipe for our tacos, We buy our seasoning at Cost- co in the big plastic jug… we do a mix of ground turkey and beef then your every day taco toppings…. with bean and rice… (no rice tonight after beans failed I didn’t even want to go play with my rice tonight)
